1.Braised White Radish
Ingredients:
200 g of White Radish
Shallots
10 g of Ginger
1/3 of an Onion
Teriyaki Sauce
Directions:
Step 1. Peel the white radish and cut it into thick rings.
Step 2. Cut the shallots into sections; Cut the ginger into slices; Cut the onion into filaments. Set them aside for later.
Step 3. Mix all the ingredients in a pot and cook them for about 15 minutes. After that, they are ready to be served.
2.Roast White Radish with Mushrooms
Ingredients:
480 g of White Radish
7-8 fresh Shiitake Mushrooms
2 Chili
3-4 slices of Ginger
250 ml of Water
Seasoning:
2 tablespoon of Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon of Sugar
1/4 teaspoon of Salt
Directions:
Step 1. Peel and dice the white radishes.
Step 2. Wash the shiitake mushrooms and cut in half
Step 3. Add water and all seasonings into the pot.
Step 4. Add chili, ginger, white radish and shiitake mushrooms. Mix well and bring it to a boil.
Step 5. Cover the pot with a lid and leave it to simmer for 20-25 minutes until the white radish becomes soft.
3.Salty Winter Melon and White Radish
Ingredients:
200 g of White Radish
1 Shallot
10 g of Ginger
Seasoning:
1 tablespoon of Salted Winter Melon
500 ml of water
1 teaspoon of Soy Sauce
Sesame Oil
1 teaspoon of Sugar
Directions:
Step 1. Peel and cut the white radish into chunks. Then, set it aside for later use.
Step 2. Cut the winter melon and shallots into sections; Cut the ginger into slices and set aside for later use.
Step 3. Add all the ingredients and seasonings except sugar into a pan.
Step 4. Then, leave them to simmer over medium-low heat for about 25 minutes.
Step 5. Finally, add sugar and the dish is ready to be served.
4.Braised Tuna and White Radish
Ingredients
200 g of White Radish
30 g of Carrots
Chili
1 clove of Garlic
Shallots
Seasoning:
A can of Tuna
A teaspoon of Soy Sauce
Directions:
Step 1. Wash the white and red radishes. Then, peel and cut them into small blocks. Set them aside for later use.
Step 2. Cut the pepper and garlic into slices; Cut the shallots into sections.
Step 3. Add all the ingredients and the seasonings into a pot. Cook the ingredients thoroughly and is ready to be served.
5.Braised Kombu White Radish
Ingredients:
500 g of White Radish
10 g of Shrimp
2 Dried Shiitake Mushrooms
1 teaspoon of Ginger Juice
Kelp
Coriander
Seasoning:
600 ml of Water
1 tablespoon of Rice Wine
1/2 teaspoon of Soy Sauce
Directions:
Step 1. Peel and cut the radish into round thick slices; Soak the shiitake mushrooms in water until they soften, then cut them into slices; Soak the shrimps in water and chop them. Set them aside for later use.
Step 2. Add the sliced shiitake mushrooms and shrimps. Then, fry them until they are dried and fragrant.
Step 3. Boil a pot of water and kelp. When the kelps are cooked, add them in with the mushroom and shrimps. Add them in with the white radish slices and braise them until the white radish turns soft and translucent. Finally, add the coriander and ginger juice. Bring them to a boil and the dish is ready to be served.
